Bethesda is Preparing Two New Patches for Fallout 76

Bethesda is preparing two new patches for Fallout 76 this month, with the first due to arrive on January 14. If you have any issues pertaining to wherever and how to use Fallout 76 Bottle Caps, you can get hold of us at our own web-page. Although details are a bit sparse on what these patches will contain mostly bug fixes and squashed exploits, according to this week's Inside The Vault post, there is some Fallout goodness you can access right now. If you played Fallout 76 in 2018 the full release, that is, not just the beta, you can fire up the Bethesda launcher today and get Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel, all for free.

Following a teaser which said the latest article in the Inside the Vault series would be released soon, Bethesda shared more information on what to expect from January's updates. The new post didn't go into much detail at all regarding what will be included in these patches, but it did at least give a release date for the first update as well as a slight indication of what it'll mean for players. Bethesda has another Fallout 76 update planned for early next week with another patch scheduled to release before the end of the month.

Bethesda continues to iron out issues in Fallout 76, with a couple of new patches on the way for the game soon. In a new post on its website, the developer shared details on some of the tweaks and changes it'll be rolling out for the online RPG this month. Bethesda's latest Fallout 76 blog post is a fairly routine recap of incoming patches, but it also follows up on the studio's promise of giving the old Fallout games to early Fallout 76 players. As of today, if you played Fallout 76 on any platform in 2018, you can claim Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel for free on PC.

Bethesda has given the next Fallout 76 patch a date, and the Fallout Classic Collection is now free on PC to all players who logged in during 2018. Fallout 76 players can expect the next patch to release next week on Monday, January 14. Patch notes will be made available closer to release. The patch will address many issues raised by the community, and includes additional performance and stability improvements.

Fallout 76 may have not had the best of critical receptions, but there are a number of new features in the game that improve the gameplay loop compared to Fallout 4. One of these is mutations: passive effects applied to the player that offer both positive and negative effects, much like traits in Fallout New Vegas. Fallout 76, though offers promptly what was advertised, has been seen as one of the biggest "mistakes" of 2018. With the major backlash following the online direction for the wasteland, one Skyrim mod takes aim at the Bethesda title.

Right from the time Bethesda announced Fallout 76 and confirmed that the game would be always-online and wouldn't feature NPCs, it was divisive. It was a major departure from the game's traditional single-player, NPC-focused experience and many were not on-board with the change.
